Patrick A. Wright founded The Wright Firm together with his twin brother Paul Wright. Patrick is a licensed attorney and is Board Certified in Family Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization. To provide his clients with a wider range of options, Patrick has also been trained in collaborative law, and is a certified Family Law Mediator.  In 2008, Patrick was honored in Texas Monthly Magazine as a “Texas Super Lawyer.” Patrick has built a substantial family law practice that includes all areas of family law including divorce, modification and custody. He also handles matters related to municipal representation, governmental issues, and civil litigation.

A Jesuit College Preparatory School of Dallas graduate, he received his Bachelor of Arts degree in political science from the University of North Texas and his law degree from South Texas College of Law. In law school, Patrick was a member of the Board of Advocates.

Patrick's reported cases include: E.W. Morrison, III v. Cogdell, No. 02-02-261-CV, 2003 WL 21476243 (Tex.App.-Fort Worth, June 26, 2003); Wilson v. Kutler, 971 S.W. 2d 557 (Tex.App.-Dallas, 1998, no writ); In re Vincent, No. 02-03-00336-CV, 2003 WL 23015164 (Tex. App.-Fort Worth Dec. 23, 2003); Barnard v. Barnard, No. 02-03-00024-CV, 2004 WL 726613 (Tex. App.-Fort Worth Apr. 1, 2004); and In re T.N. and M.N., No. 02-03-00350-CV (Tex. App.-Fort Worth filed Nov. 21, 2003). Patrick has provided representation for several federal employment cases in the United States District Courts for the Eastern and Northern Districts of Texas.

Before beginning his family law practice, Patrick served as the City Attorney for the City of Krum, Texas, a position he held for approximately eight years.  He has also served as the City Prosecutor for the City of Corinth, Texas and as the City Attorney for the City of Hackberry, Texas. Patrick is admitted to practice before the United States Supreme Court and the United States District Courts for the Northern and Eastern Districts of Texas and is a member of the College of the State Bar of Texas.
